I suppose £8 million is not bad for a 34 year old golfer at the peak of his profession, but as the first golfer to claim top rank on PGA Tour and European Tour money lists on both sides of the Atlantic in the same year, he perhaps should be proud of himself.
His early golf days started at Hazlemere Golf Club , close to Beaconsfield and High Wycombe, which as a wedding venue, offers the perfect reception at the golf club. You can even have your wedding breakfast in the Luke Donald suite overlooking the golf course and the glorious views of the Chilterns.
That is one of a few accolades to his career – I certainly have nothing named after me!
Certainly the mix of golf and weddings are starting to go hand in hand. Golf themed weddings are becoming more popular. I came across this Golf Theme Weddings website which is full of quirky ideas including personalised golf ball wedding favours, golf themed cake toppers, chocolate golf balls, golf themed cupackes and even golf ball table centre pieces full of lollipops – a great way to keep the kids hands busy during the wedding speeches!
So if you love golf and are not holding your wedding at a golf club venue we can still bring mini golf to your wedding. Our portable mini golf courses can be sent direct to your venue, self-assembled and a full 9 hole course will provide an everlasting entertainment memory for your wedding guests, not just for keeping the little ones out of mischief!
We are taking bookings for next year already and have a couple of weekends almost fully booked, so if your wedding is in June or July and you would like a mini golf course as part of your big day – call us quick on 01284 700402!
