We love crazy golf challenges here at Putterfingers and I came across article this morning which features the sponsorship deal from Air New Zealand to celebrate the the New Zealand PGA Pro-AM Tournament. The tournament takes place from March 29th to April 1st 2012 at the Hills Golf Course in Arrowtown, near Queenstown.
Air New Zealand launched the first ever 30,000 ft In-flight Putting Challenge which has led to some unusual putting practise down the aisle of an aircraft, and who thought they only loved rugby?
The competition was offered in one of the A320 aircrafts which flies between Auckland and Queenstown. A great way to pass the hour and a half flight!
The challenges faced by those putting were mainly that the plane flies slightly nose up, therefore putting downhill and given the size of the aisle of the aircraft, putting on a slight angle to avoid the ball rolling under the other passengers seats!

The best performer gets to visit the tournament this week and the prizes offered range from the following:
– Return flights for two to Queenstown from anywhere on the Air New Zealand Domestic network
