Rifling through photos of my student days, I stumbled across these mini golf score cards from my first ever holiday abroad to Palma Nova, Majorca and was obviously a keen mini-golfer even back then!
This is a mini-golf gem in the heart of Palma Nova just meters from the beach and with three different 18 hole tropical courses to choose from: Fruit Course, Flower Course and Bird Course.
I would have included the photographs but 20 years on, I was a teenager and look a whole lot different now! But here is an image of the brochure – very 1990’s.
We had great fun over the 3 courses back in 1994 and judging by the reviews on Trip Advisor the quality of play has remained the same. Definitely ‘clubbing’ of a different variety in comparison to the neighbouring village of Magaluf, but the the Fruit Course was certainly a winner for me with a top round of 51.
It really was a fantastic shaded garden escape from the heat of the day and an unique way to enjoy an evening of sport, fun and entertainment.
