This time last year we were playing mini golf on our family holiday in France. The course itself was in the Loire Valley at a holiday park south of Paris, positioned in a sunny spot on the site, with a somewhat tired looking crazy golf course. The courses we have played in France have all varied in condition and are mostly a static modular course made from concrete with a variety of obstacles, diversions and tunnels to attempt to get the ball through. We are yet to come across a course that has a green felt carpet like the crazy golf courses here in the UK.
We didn’t manage a hole-in-one but we had lots of fun retrieving the balls from inside the tunnels and rescuing stray balls hit outside of the putting green area (mostly by my 6 year old!)
So when we go back to France later in the month we definitely will be finding some mini golf / crazy golf courses to play – just have to convince the children now!
