In the last few weeks, I have been fortunate enough to have met some lovely excited brides at the start of their wedding planning journey. For many the fear of getting married in ‘unlucky 13’ is now over, it looks like 2014 is to be a more ‘lucky’ year!
We were present at the Take My Hand Wedding Fair on 5th January 2014 and indulged in hearing all about the plans of over 100 excited brides to be. Not having the opportunity to visit wedding fairs myself after getting married in Mauritius over a decade ago, I missed the opportunities to plan the beautiful vintage decor options and fine detail of the day.
There were many exhibitors on the day offering all the areas of wedding planning you could ever imagine. From cakes through to wedding cars, all important photography through to catering and sweetie carts through to wedding stationery. Definitely a feast for your eyes.
Along with Bury Bridal Rooms who had a wonderful selection of dresses, Amazing Cakes by Jean who offered an array of wedding cake options and Heathcote and Hare Fine Catering. We were positioned next to Paul Bailey Photography who offer a bespoke and personalised wedding photography service.
Here is our stand that managed to stop a few interested bridal parties for mini golf at their forthcoming weddings.
With a number of enquiries for mini golf hire at the show we are happy we will be helping brides in 2014 and beyond. One eager bride to be for 2016 was making early enquiries for her wedding plans – now that is what I called organised!
Izzy, the daughter of the wedding fair organisers Charlotte and Matt Carter, enjoyed a go on the loop the loop obstacle!
Many wedding parties are talking of a theme to their wedding and you can see some mini golf wedding ideas in our Pinterest account.
Are you getting married this year? Fancy a 9 hole golf course for your wedding? We can deliver a course to you wherever you are. If you are interested in hiring one of our courses for your wedding, please do get in touch. We can hire anything from one hole to nine holes.
For those of you reading this that we met at the fair, good luck with the rest of the wedding plans!
