We were delighted to hear that one of our portable putting greens had been used by the staff at Northern Trust offices in Ireland during a busy few days of golf, with the Northern Trust Open tournament in California, running from 14-19th February 2012.
What better way to keep the employees of Northern Trust, the competition’s sponsor, involved in the golf theme?
We reached out to one of our clients over in Dublin, MYB Promotions, who provide entertaining games to event management and corporate events. They incorporated a mini golf course into their promotions business purchasing from Putterfingers in 2010.
The team at MYB have been busy using the mini golf course across shopping malls in Dublin, for fundraising and charity events and for corporate entertainment to keep their Irish audience entertained!
MYB promotions purchased a Pro Course from Putterfingers in the Summer of 2010 and have been active in the Republic of Ireland with crazy golf hire to tourist attractions, for weddings, parties, corporate events and most recently with the introduction of Games Zone. The Games Zone concept consists of a 9 hole Portable Crazy Golf course, Giant Chess, Giant Draughts, Giant Noughts and Crosses and Giant Connect 4 and can hire this concept out to any event due to its transportable nature.
So back to the Northern Trust Open and well done to Bill Haas who defeated Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickelson by sinking a 45-foot birdie putt on the second playoff hole at the Riviera Country Club.
As for the employees who enjoyed the golf at the Limerick offices of Northern Trust, I hear they had a swingin’ time!
