Mini Golf family fun at Legoland Windsor

Well it has been yet another busy mini golf week that included a family visit to Legoland Windsor and of course resulted in a game of mini golf on the 18 hole  Mole in One Mini Golf course.

Upon checking the map there was no sign of the 18 hole mini golf course in the Duplo Land area……..the course is in the area behind the Duplo Train and Extreme Challenge Water Slide – the children were rather alarmed!  Much to our joy the mini golf course was still there and full of families enjoying the course.

The game was played on beautiful sunny day and much fun was had over the 18 hole layout – including the tricky 3 hero holes at hole numbers 8,9 and 18.

The only aces scored on the day were from the males in my family! Both took place on the last hole – The Otter’s Den which was a hero hole.  We agreed to use the yellow spot to putt into and thankfully this year it was not filled with water!

After an interesting first 9 I was the only one to score par of 26 (this is by miracle playing alongside my golfing husband!) and after the 18 I managed to finish 4 over par.  My husband finished -4 and the children a respectable 6 over and my daughter several shots over par – but she is only 7 and took much pride in taking the highest number of strokes at 13 on hole 16!

The putters and potters!

If you haven’t had a game at Legoland yet, as an Annual pass member it was just £4 for the family for an enjoyable hour of mini golf – a very good price.
